Close to my heart

OH my has it really been this long!
So much has happened that I will be posting all this week so grab a coffee
and have a good nosey!
I think one of the most important things in my life, besides the family of course is a cause very close to my heart and I have been helping (in my very small way) I hope.
Honour Our Troops is a team of very dedicated, unselfish people whose aim is to stage a concert in honour of our British Soldiers. A 'Live Aid' style concert, the first of it's kind in the country. The hope is that it will be shown around the world to our lads & lasses serving away.
All of the work being done is voluntary. There are many people in various groups fund raising in different ways - a fab Calendar, A 500 mile walk across Britain, other walks and ventures too!
Please, please, please have a look and see if you can help in anyway, Just buying a wristband, joining a walk or staging your own or donating a pound. Yup, just ONE pound! Join the Facebook groups, follow the updates on Twitter, spread the word.
It's coming and it's going to be HUGE!!!!! :-)

To all of my overseas and USA visitors, our boys work closly with yours, risking their lives side by side and we mourn them as much as our own. They are all somebodies babies.
