I like my blog, well I did like my blog a few months ago...I am very grateful
for the background from 'The Cutest Blog' et al.
But after looking at a few others it feels a bit drab :-(
A bit unloved and definately in need of traffic!!
It's sort of girly but not fresh, it needs making pretty and to be honest it
doesn't really tell anyone about who we/I am.
(Not that I expect anyone to really give a hoot) or what we do or like.
The colours are too dark and it feels like it needs brightening up just a tad.
I seem to have been so busy administering to Grandma Eunice, running for prescriptions, making sure
she is fed ( no thanks to meals on wheels - but that's a whole new post!!)
sorting her bills not to mention a very long team meeting for the Charity
plus the twincesses & Daddy being horribly poorly that all
I have had time to do is tweet random 'hello's' & likes at people.
I have more followers on twitter ( thank you so much!!!) had a huge laugh during 'This Week' & managed to help some rather more eminent tweeters with a trending topic regarding George Galloway & his fondness of miaowing..............
Anywho, as usual I digress!!
So I have decided to design my own background & headers with the help of 'The Cutest Blog'. Not only do they have fab templates & background and other cute things they also have a very very helpful section should you wish to go it alone....
So, deep breath & I hope to have the finished design for you very soon. Hopefully a vision of loveliness!! ( is that a real word?)

My friend has this same design. I had one of their pre-made designs early on too, but you're right. It gets old quick when it just isn't 'you'.

ReplyDeleteI did love it originally but this week Ihave really really loved trying to make my own design- it's been fun & a lot easier than I thought! Can't wait to finish it and show it off - hope people are kind :-)
